The Head of Liquidity role is a key leadership role responsible both directly and indirectly for a highly cross-functional team delivering strategy, product solutions, partnerships, and marketing campaigns. The objective of the Liquidity team is to grow GoPay as the most convenient, flexible, and liquid mobile wallet available. This is a foundation team with an important impact on all other business teams within GoPay. You will report to GoPay’s Chief Growth Officer and partner with a range of exceptional cross-functional leaders.
The Liquidity team is a cross-functional pod that plays a crucial role in the overall GoPay Growth Team. The cross-functional pod is responsible for delivering on many different strategies to make it convenient and compelling for users to always keep high enough balances on GoPay to be able to transact whenever they want.
Direct accountability over Liquidity team targets and marketing budgetSet the strategic road-map of prioritized initiatives base on research insights, data analytics insights and other partnership or competitive landscape considerationsDirectly and indirectly manage a cross-functional team delivering on strategic road-mapHigh level of involvement with partnership negotiations which will primarily be led by business development teamsCombination of direct accountability over product and engineering initiatives and shared ownership with adjacent partner teams in product management and engineeringAnalysis of results of experiments, campaigns, partnership initiatives and decision-making around scaling, modifying or ending those efforts to maximize business impactHiring, on-boarding, learning & development, calibration for all direct and dotted-line cross-functional team membersExecutive communication and cross-functional communication on the performance of the Liquidity team
Previous experience with accountability over both strategy and execution, especially in product management, product marketing, general P&L management or other related operational roles managing many complex stakeholders.At least 8 and ideally at least 10 years of relevant operational experience, especially in a consumer technology and consumer financial services company (consumer banking, lending, etc.). Payments or fintech experience is ideal.Deep empathy for users needs and pain points.Proven ability to influence internal stakeholders as well as external partners, especially banks and other financial services providers.Track record of successful product and/or marketing launches with sustained business impact.Proven technical and analytical ability to leverage data for insights and to drive business decisions.People management and development experience for at least 2 years.Undergraduate degree in a relevant field, with a Graduate degree as a plus.
